TECHNOLOGY BASED ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Govt. of
Tamilnadu in partnership with NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion is conducting
a 36 days intensive training classes on “Technology Entrepreneurship
Development Programme (TEDP)” for the benefit of young graduates. This program which
is sponsored by Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India was inaugurated
here by Shri.R.Balakrishnan, I.A.S, Additional Chief Secretary / Director, EDI,
Chennai.
Shri.R.Balakrishnan, I.A.S, Additional Chief Secretary /
Director, EDI, Chennai in his inaugural address said that this program would
definitely benefit the young graduates who are planning to become an
entrepreneur. He insisted that the
candidates should apply their original thoughts and ideas with innovation so
that success is ensured. The candidates
at the end of the program, are expected to prepare a good model business plan which
will attract the bankers to come forward for acceptance, he further said.
The program was presided by Shri.Raja M.Shangmugham,
Chairman of this College in presence of District Collector Shri.G.Govindaraj,
I.A.S., who delivered key note address.
Shri.S.Ashokan, G.M, District Industries Centre, Tirupur, Shri.G.Moghan,
Vice-Chairman (Fin), Dr.R.Jayaraman, Members Secretary, CED, Madurai and
Dr.K.Paneerselvam, Addl. Director, EDI, Chennai felicitated the program. The program was ended with vote of thanks by
Dr.N.Gokarneshan, Principal.
